Welcome to the Dilshad Begum Foundation (DBF), a registered non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of underserved communities across Pakistan. Since 2014, we have worked to address the most pressing challenges faced by marginalized and underprivileged populations through practical, sustainable initiatives.
Our mission is straightforward: to support those who need it most, without discrimination. Through programs focused on education, healthcare, clean water, food security, and community welfare, we strive to create meaningful, lasting change and help build a more secure future for the communities we serve.
Join Our Mission
Many organizations launch initiatives. Few focus on maintaining them. DBF operates differently.
Every project begins with in-depth community assessment and a clear roadmap.
Standard operating procedures ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable results.
Regular field visits, impact analysis, and adaptive management keep projects on track.
We empower local leaders to ensure ownership and sustainability beyond our direct support.
Whether it is plantation efforts, awareness programs, or community engagement initiatives, the focus is on sustainability rather than visibility. Success is not measured by how many events were conducted, but by what remains months and years later. In this way, DBF is not simply responding to social challenges; it is addressing the operational weaknesses that often limit social impact.
To empower marginalized communities across Pakistan through sustainable initiatives in education, healthcare, clean water, food security, and social welfare—without discrimination—and to build resilience that lasts for generations.
A Pakistan where every individual has access to basic necessities and opportunities to thrive, supported by a compassionate and accountable civil society that prioritizes lasting change over temporary relief.
We believe in full disclosure of our financials to our donors, partners, and the communities we serve.
Our latest audited financial statement highlights our responsible stewardship of donor funds. In the fiscal year 2024–2025, DBF allocated 84% of total expenditures to direct program services, including education scholarships, hand pump installations, monthly rashan distributions, and the Seerat Encyclopedia project. The remaining 16% covered administrative and fundraising costs, well within industry standards for non-profit efficiency.
